PEDERSEN - 1994 (Danemark))
PEDERSEN
Model : Michael Telaio N° 11
Wood wheels
Suspended leather saddle.
Weight: 15 kg
Pedersen received a patent in the UK for his bike in the early 1890s and built the first wooden model. He trained Pedersen Cycle Frame Co. Ltd. and when this fell into financial difficulties, the production was continued by the Dursley Pedersen Cycle Co.
The design was also conceded to other manufacturers and about 30,000 units were produced by the early 1920s, but the design never really took over. In 1978, Jesper Sølling resumed production in Copenhagen.
